Oxley Community Transport: Providing Aged Care Transport in Tamworth

From trips to the cinema to surrounding communities, we arrange a variety of fun and engaging social outings for seniors. We also provide scheduled trips to local shopping centres.

We are creating a community garden behind our office in Taminda, where the garden beds will be raised and wheelchair accessible. We invite elderly individuals to engage in different gardening activities. Nurture and cultivate plants while learning more about sustainability.

Looking for a way to give back to the local community? We’re looking for volunteers to donate their time and drive elderly citizens to appointments and activities. Passenger assistant positions are also available.

We facilitate the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme designed to bring companionship, support and social interaction to senior citizens. Volunteers engage in a range of activities, including playing games and going for walks. Funded by the Australian Government.
